Standard Fish Houses
All of our fishhouses are newer, clean, neat houses. They all have propane lights and heat, bunks with foam mattresses, carpeting, table and chairs, and rattle reels above each of the holes. All that is needed are sleeping bags and pillows. If you like to jig for fish or fish tip ups, bring appropriate equipment. One or two minnow buckets per house, a scoop/ice skimmer, and an assortment of hooks and jigs are also helpful. We sell bait, minnow buckets, scoops, some fishing tackle, pop, and munchies in our lodge as well. We also have a heated restroom and shower facility which is available 24 hours a day on shore.

In Minnesota, you may fish two lines per person though the ice. Therefore, our four hole houses have two bunks and are designed for only two people. Our six hole houses have four bunks and are designed for three to four people. Our eight hole houses have six bunks and are designed for four to six people. We have found that sometimes not all people want to fish two lines or they may want to put tip up lines outside. If you set tip ups outside they must be at least 25 yards away from any fishhouses to avoid flooding.

On Shore Lodging
If you prefer to stay on shore during the evenings and fish only during the day, or perhaps some of your guests would rather be on shore all the time, we do keep a large two-bedroom house open during the winter. house is completely furnished and will sleep up to seven people. It has a full bath, full kitchen, dishes, cookware, coffee pot, microwave, cable TV, bedding, towels, electric fire place, etc...2 night minumum / $180.00 per night and $160.00 weekday rate, per night.

Our lodge is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days a week. The grill is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday thru Thursday and from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Our menu includes excellent breakfasts, homemade soups/chili, hamburgers and fries, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches and the famous Heggies pizza, that are available anytime during business hours.

Agate Bay Resort is located on the northeast side of Mille Lacs Lake. Just three miles south of Malmo or 11 miles north of Isle on Hwy. 47. Watch for the lighted Agate Bay Road sign before turning in towards the lake.
